Meet Our Team:

Hannah Everett

Kia Ora, I’m Hannah! I I am the Organisational Development Lead at The Charity Collective.

I work alongside charities and community organisations across Aotearoa, supporting the behind-the-scenes systems and processes that help organisations work effectively and sustainably. My role focuses on organisation coordination and operational support, ensuring teams are well equipped to deliver on their purpose.

Originally from Newcastle, Australia, I have an academic background in Law and International Studies, and over the past year I’ve been working in the non-for-profit sector. During this time, I’ve supported a wide range of administrative functions, assisted organisations through the grant funding process, and helped teams work more efficiently.

My professional experience across both legal and not-for-profit settings has supported my ability to manage deadlines, navigate competing priorities, and contribute efficiently to day-to-day operations, particularly in environments where clear systems and good communication matter.

One issue I hope to see meaningfully addressed in my lifetime is improved access to legal justice. Through my studies and experiences, I’ve seen the real impact that inequality within legal systems can have, particularly for those who face systemic or structural disadvantage. Reducing financial and practical barriers, and strengthening access to clear, supportive legal pathways, is essential for a more equitable world.

At The Charity Collective, you’ll often connect with me around communications, coordination and operational support. I am proud to contribute to work that supports and strengthens communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, and look forward to assisting the people and teams behind these initiatives.
